The Denim Binge {ft. Red Velvet Cupcake}

Styling different looks for a bowtie has been somewhat of a challenge for me. The obvious choice for styling was doing the quintessential formal attire. And I could not resist the temptation of going all out formal too – that is probably a look you would see on the blog soon. But for this post I wanted to break the monotony of blacks and whites with a little denim. So I recently styled a denim on denim look with a bowtie and asked husband to click away to glory as I enjoyed my weekly cupcake binge. I am hooked to these red velvet cupcakes and while I try to stick to the healthy diet – I cannot resist the temptation these red velvet cupcakes offer. Yum!! I also decided to shoot all of this indoors in my pretty little house. I am not much of a location scout but I like posing and shooting in places I am comfortable at. It makes all the smiling into the camera really easy. And if the location is your house, what can be more comfortable than that. So while we were shooting, much to the amusement of my husband, I thought it would make for a great picture if I was binge-ing on the cupcake in the picture. And lo and behold! We did manage a fun afternoon photoshoot!
