Print it on!

If you have been following me on the blog, you would see that I am more of a solid colour person. My wardrobe is filled with clothes in single block colours – blues, blacks, whites and greys. For the longest time I have believed in colour blocking. But I wanted to break the monotony in my wardrobe and so this AND top came into my life. And as I decided to add some print into my wardrobe – I decided to go all out. I bought this super brightly printed top with three-fourth sleeves. There are so many ways in which you can team up a bright printed top and make it work for different scenarios. Scroll down to see how I paired it with my denims and read on how you can make it work too. Image_1

HOW TO WEAR IT?
Formal: Yes! You can pull off a brightly printed top in your formal attire too. Ofcourse, not in a white collar job- but maybe a Thursday wear when the corporate eyebrows don’t arch too much. Pair it with a fitted trouser and closed shoes. Tuck it in and wear a belt (always wear a belt if the loops of your trousers or jeans are visible). Do not wear a lot of accessories – maybe pearl earring at max.
Friday Dressing/Day Out: Pair it with your jeans. Tuck in or Let it loose. Wear it with heels to dress it up or with flats to dress it down.
Night Out: Heading out for a party? Pair your printed top with a skirt and strappy heels.

So tell me – do I look fine in the printed top or should I stick to solid colours?
